The 5-point initiative is named after the amount of points you score when you score a try. It also signifies a roadmap for content rollout to build hype for the Falls first ever home game.
Week 1:Launch & Tease
In week 1, a 6-week countdown will begin on all social media platforms, with teaser videos showing off the logo will also be released.
Week 2:Meet the Falls
Release the player profile images, behind-the-scenes locker room footage, coaching, and practice clips posted to social media. A weekly player spotlight will start this week. This allows fans to learn and form connections with current players.
Week 3:Community week
The team hosts Rugby in the Park Day to engage local community members and have some fun with the local children. The team will also be attending other Vancouver sports (Canucks, Whitecaps) in their Falls jerseys to build hype for the upcoming season.
Week 4: Gear Up
During week 4, our merch will drop online and in stores, an Instagram photo shoot involving the players and the new merchGeneral public tickets to released this week and an exclusive giveaway for the first 500 buyers.
Week 5: The Build-up
Final hype video drops involving players, coaches, fans and more, team banners and being put up around downtown Vancouver,
Week 6: Game time
This is game week, we can gauge to see how well the 5 prior weeks were when analyzing attendance numbers and social media engagement
